The “front way” (Hwy 10 east to Hwy 30 to Hwy 330 – becomes 18 in Running Springs) is the fastest from the LA Basin and points south ---- when there is little traffic.  It is also the most winding.

The “back way” (Hwy 15 to 18 or Hwy 15 to Hwy 247 to 18) through Lucerne Valley is the best approach from Las Vegas, Palm Springs or points north of Los Angeles.  It is a much shorter mountain drive but does have some tight curves.  It is generally free of traffic.  You will enter Big Bear Valley on the north-eastern end.  If you continue along the North Shore of the lake and cross over the dam at the West end, you will avoid most of the traffic.

Hwy 10 east to Highway 38 (Orange Street) is the longest way up the hill but has lovely vistas.  It has the fewest curves and is also less traveled than the “front way”.  You enter the Big Bear Valley from the East and will continue through Big Bear City, past Vons and Stater Brothers, the Resorts and the Village to the West end of the lake to our office.

Our office is on Highway 18/Big Bear Blvd. on the West side of the Lake near Boulder Bay.

39327 Big Bear Blvd.
